Welcome

Thank you for choosing to learn more about my practice. It is truly an honor for me to be welcomed into my clients’ lives and to share in the growth, healing and transformation that is psychotherapy. I commend you for having the courage and strength to choose to begin this journey and I offer free 15-minute phone consultations to assist you with the process.

I bring a thoughtful and genuine presence to the therapeutic relationship that develops between my clients and myself. I consider this connection key to self-discovery, healing, and change. I believe psychotherapy supports the development of good relationships, healthy boundaries, mindfulness, attention to balance, and empathy and respect for yourself and others. I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space in which personal growth and self-acceptance are encouraged. I provide individual, couples, and group psychotherapy, with an emphasis on trauma recovery and treatment of anxiety and depression. I use a varied approach to therapy – focusing on interpersonal, attachment, personality and familial issues. To me, psychotherapy is a collaborative experience in which therapist and client can together find meaning. Additionally, I value the connection between mind and body and work to increase awareness of one’s physical self in hopes of bringing inner peace and balance. I believe the more attentive one is to his/her true self – mind, body, and soul – the easier it can be to face life’s challenges.
